When I founded BEAUTYINK® in 2008, I had no idea the magnitude my contribution would make in the SMP industry. As a pioneer there was NO TRAINING back then, so I had to learn though trial and error. I incorporated the knowledge from my Make up FX background and applied it to SMP and now these techniques are the standard in the field today.

I saw the one and done approach did not look natural, so I started to experiment with the same layering techniques I used for creating a bald head on camera. Using different sized needles, and variations of colour, I was able to create a blended natural result that was soo needed in the industry.

In 2012 I was asked to share my techniques in the USA and the rest is history. I have traveled and shared my expertise internationally, training students around the globe to create beautiful results ever since.

It warms my heart knowing I've helped elevate the industry we know today, creating new tools and techniques to support artists alike. I have since created Manual SMP™ a technique that does not require a machine, so it's much more comfortable for the client and great for detailing.

I have also created one of the the first on-line training programs SMP Essentials™. I deigned this interactive course to support students who took the basic 3 days of training, without learning the key fundamentals required to advance in this career. As the only CPCP SMP Trainer in the country, It's my mission to support and mentorthe next generation. This carries a tremendous responsibility and one I don't take lightly.
